How to Measure Your Table

Follow these simple steps to get exact measurements for your custom table pad.

Measuring Steps

    Prepare the tableRemove tablecloth, placemats, and all items. Table should be bare and fully assembled.
  • 2
    Measure the widthMeasure across the widest point of the flat eating surface only — not the apron or lip underneath.
  • 3
    Measure the lengthMeasure along the longest point of the flat eating surface from edge to edge.
  • 4
    Measure each leaf (if applicable)Measure the shorter dimension of each leaf individually. Note quantity and size — they may differ.
  • 5
    Record your measurements

Measure each section and each leaf separately

Round Table

Width and length are equal — measure diameter only

Oval Table

Measure at widest and longest flat surface points

Octagon Table

Corner to Corner Side

Provide corner-to-corner diagonal AND one side length

Boat Shape Table

Length (end to end) Width (widest point) Straight end

Straight ends, curved sides. Measure length end to end and width at the widest center point.

Bow End Table

Length Width Bow depth

Curved ends, straight sides. Measure length, width, and bow depth at widest curve.
